Our fabric by the meter is hand-woven. This can be produced in various weaves such as cross twill, herringbone, diamond, and honeycomb. With baby wraps, the different weaves have slightly different carrying properties.
Cross Twill
Cross twill wraps have a fabric weight of approximately 215 g/m². They are suitable for newborns as well as for toddlers later on (then possibly tied in multiple layers). These wraps are particularly suitable for beginners; they are easy to tie and easy to care for.
Diamond
The fabric weight is approximately 228 g/m². Diamond wraps are particularly cuddly even without a long break-in period. The diamond weave is wonderfully suited for newborns. For very heavy children and single-layer carries, diamond wraps are no longer our first choice. Except for diamond with double weft/double filling yarn, of course.
Herringbone
Herringbone wraps are particularly cuddly right from the start, which is why they make great newborn wraps, among other things (except for double weft). But even with heavier children, herringbone wraps still perform excellently, especially with multi-layer carries (e.g., Double Hammock). The fabric weight is approximately 210 g/m².
Honeycomb
The fabric weight is approximately 217 g/m². Honeycomb wraps are suitable from birth. In terms of carrying properties, they can be well compared to diamond wraps.
